I recognise that true wellness extends beyond the physical; it encompasses mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being as well. By integrating these elements alongside you, I’ll aim to support you with a personalised path to long-term health.
Larissa Fletcher
BHSc Naturopathy
I’m a degree qualified Clinical Naturopath who also works part-time in the corporate world.
My path to naturopathy wasn’t straightforward and I spent over 10 years completing my degree while juggling a corporate career, raising two kids, and navigating the wildly chaotic pace of modern life.
I know firsthand how easy it is for stress, long hours, and competing responsibilities to take priority over health. I also know that creating change doesn’t need to be overwhelming. Small, progressive steps can bring real and lasting improvements.
When you work with me, you’ll be met with honesty, empathy, and no judgement. My goal is to really listen, help you uncover what’s going on beneath the surface, and support you to feel more in control of your health.
Together, we’ll find practical ways to bring more balance into your life, without adding more chaos.
The Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) is a four year full-time degree that encompasses studies in social and biological sciences, nutrition, dietary planning, lifestyle education, botany and herbal medicine.
Principles of Naturopathy
The naturopathic principles are the foundation of my practice, guiding every consultation and treatment plan. They shape my approach to uncovering root causes and supporting your health with safe, effective care.
First, do no harm (primum non nocere)
Choosing the most gentle and non-invasive therapy to achieve a result for each individual.
Treat the cause (tolle causam)
Symptoms are important clues, but the underlying causes are key to healing.
Doctor as teacher (docere)
Education helps us understand why our health may not be optimal and how our choices can have a big impact.
The healing power of nature (vis medicatrix naturae)
Supporting your body to heal itself.
Treat the whole person (tolle totum)
The whole is the greater sum of all parts. We are made up of many body systems that are woven together and respond when supported together.
Prevention (preventare)
Promoting healthy choices, assessing risk and implementing appropriate therapeutic interventions can prevent illness.
